Using Khabari

Khabari lets you order groceries from nearby shops, plan meals, share recipes, keep a mess hisab and take part in recipe bounties. By creating an account you agree to use the service lawfully and to keep your login details private.

Orders and payment

Each order comes from one shop. You can pay the rider in cash on delivery, or pay online through SSLCommerz. Prices are set by the shop and shown before you order. The total includes the shop's delivery fee and a service fee. You can cancel an order until the shop starts preparing it.

Missing items and refunds

If a shop can't supply an item, it is removed and you are not charged for it. If an order you paid online is rejected, cancelled or partly filled, the difference is refunded.

Recipes and content

You keep ownership of recipes and photos you share, and give Khabari permission to show them in the app. Recipes are reviewed before they are published. Don't upload content you don't have the right to share.

Reward points

Points are earned for approved recipes, orders and accepted bounty submissions, and can reduce part of an order's price. Points offered on a bounty are held until you accept a submission or cancel the bounty. Points have no cash value.

Shops and riders

Shops are verified by Khabari before they can take orders. Shopkeepers are responsible for their prices, stock and deliveries, and for the riders they invite.

Mess hisab

Mess accounts are kept by the members themselves. Khabari calculates the split from what members record but is not responsible for payments between them.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
